Payments

You can pay by credit card (Visa/MasterCard) through the online store or by bank transfer.

No, the price of the budgets is final.

The first payment will serve to guarantee the reservation and it is preferable that this payment is made as soon as possible so that we can start the reservation process as soon as possible.

Yes, we call it a single room supplement, and it is shown in each of the prices on the tours.

As much as possible, since the availability of lodging is limited since most of the route passes through small towns and rural areas.

Refunds

In case of cancellation by the customer, the following cancellation and handling policy applies.

  • Cancellation up to 91 days before the trip: 100,00 € per person will be retained for management fees.
  • From 90 to 46 days from the beginning of the trip: 300,00 Euros per person will be retained for management fees.
  • 45 to 21 of the beginning of the trip: 50 % of the total amount of the price per person, will be retained, for management expenses.
  • Cancellations 20 days before the beginning of the trip: 100% of the total amount of the trip will be retained for management fees.
  • In case of no-show: 100% of the price will be retained for expenses incurred.

Insurance

On independent tours it is an optional service. On private tours (VIP or guided) a basic travel insurance is included. Not trip cancellation insurance.

No, but it is highly recommended that you take out travel cancellation insurance in your home country.

It is not mandatory, but highly recommended for any of the routes of the Camino de Santiago. Failure to take out insurance on the part of the client exempts us from responsibility for any mishap.

Services on the Road

Along the French road in particular, you will find a multitude of establishments (every 2 or 3 km), on other roads they will be less frequent.

Yes, you can use the toilets in the bars, stores and restaurants along the Camino, but sometimes it may be necessary or convenient to consume something to use the restrooms.

In general, it is not possible to make changes once the tour has started, if exceptional circumstances arise, please ask us and we will assist you as soon as possible. A change may have an effect on the rest of the program and will result in a change in price.

The best months are April, May, June, September and October. July and August are hotter and more crowded but also recommended.

Yes, all the routes of the Camino de Santiago are suitable for pilgrims to travel alone.

All the routes of the Camino are very well signposted, so you will have no problem if you go on your own.

Preparation and Equipment

It is advisable for all people to prepare themselves physically for the Camino de Santiago, regardless of their physical level.

You can start walking 35 to 60 minutes a day and increase the amount of time and kilometers, generally, it is recommended to start training three months before starting the Camino.

Comfortable sports or trekking shoes (not brand new).

A poncho or raincoat, hat or cap and sunscreen.

The most advisable are trekking shoes with some use (never use new shoes).
